Mini Bell Peak Flow Meter. Looking for Distributors

The peak flow meter is a portable, handheld device for those with asthma and bronchitis that is used to measure how well air moves out of your lungs. Measuring your peak flow using this meter is an important part of managing your asthma and bronchitis symptoms and helps you to prevent an asthma attack.
The peak flow meter works by measuring how fast air comes out of the lungs when you exhale forcefully after inhaling fully.

A peak flow meter for asthma is like a thermometer for fever. Both are tools to help monitor what is happening in your body. For example, you can often feel feverish, but by taking the temperature, the thermometer does not indicate fever. In the case of asthma, sometimes you may feel that you are breathing fine, but when measuring their lung function with a peak flow meter, is somewhat reduced.

Reading a peak flow meter tells you how open your airways so you can better treat asthma.

What does a peak flow meter?
The peak flow meter is a handheld device that measures air flow, or peak expiratory flow rate Determine the severity of asthma

  • Monitor response to treatment during an acute episode of asthma
  • Monitor the progress in the treatment of chronic asthma and provide information for changes in therapy
  • Detect a deterioration of lung function and avoid possible severe asthma attack

A peak flow meter can help expiratory you and your allergist / immunologist to assess the severity of their asthma at any given time. With a peak flow meter, you can often see a drop in the results even before their symptoms (such as coughing or wheezing) get worse. Decreases in peak flow may indicate that drugs need to be strengthened.
